A Newry man accused of the harassment and intimidation of a number of his former teaching colleagues, appeared in the city’s Magistrates Court recently.
Patrick Hollywood (38) of Upper Fathom Road is accused of causing “various victims to fear on at least two occasions that violence would be used against them”. The court heard that Hollywood “unlawfully caused by force, threats or menaces or in some other way namely various victims, to do or refrain from doing an act, namely various actions, contrary to the Protection of the Person and Property Act”.
The charges stem from a police investigation into complaints of harassment and intimidation linked to incidents at St. Patrick High School in Keady, on dates between January 2017 and August 2018.
The case was adjourned until May 22nd.
