A local couple who relocated to the Costa Del Sol where they run a successful Irish pub are set to feature in the new series of Channel 4’s New Life in the Sun, which begins next Monday.

Twenty five year old Danielle Carroll and her fiance, Crossmaglen man, Micheal McGuinness (26) will star in 3 episodes of the series of the show which follows ex-pats chasing their dream lives abroad.  The pair made the move to Spain in March last year after falling in love with the Spanish culture during a holiday to Salou where they got engaged.

The entrepreneurial couple now run their own pub, McGuinness’ The Irish Pub, in the beautiful little fishing village of San Luis de Sabinillas and the programme captures the trials and tribulations of starting their business as well as an insight into the day-to-day running of the pub and their new life in Spain.

Danielle and Michael’s story will air over three episodes of New Life in the Sun, beginning on Monday 12th March.  Tune in to see how the local couple have made their dreams a reality in the Spanish sun.
